Labor in the White House? Could it be?! 11/21/2008
Ladies and gentlemen, if media speculation is correct, there's a very good chance labor will finally have a place at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  So who am I speaking of? Patrick Gaspard. Media reports indicate that the political director (left) of Obama's presidential campaign, is set to be tapped for the same position in the White House. CommentsBecca Litz Sun, 23 Nov 2008 15:02:05 Indeed, it's stupefying, really, that a labor operative has never been tapped for any Cabinet job, particularly the one that deals with labor issues. I'd like to think that might happen with Obama, but the reality of the matter is that it won't.
